Italy Sketchbook Tour 2026 – Payments, Deposit & Policies
Program Dates
Duration: June 15 – 22, 2026 (8 days / 7 nights).
Admin team arrival: June 13, 2026.
Reservation deadline: January 31, 2026.
What’s Included
Accommodation at Hotel Ristorante Alcide, Poggibonsi (double or triple rooms, half board: daily buffet breakfast and group dinners at the hotel).
Private transportation for excursions to Pisa, San Gimignano, and Colle di Val d’Elsa.
Round-trip Trenitalia tickets from Poggibonsi to Florence and Siena.
Museum and site admissions included in the itinerary (Uffizi Gallery, Bargello, Pinacoteca Nazionale, Museo Civico, etc.).
Visit to Zecchi Art Supply store in Florence, specializing in traditional art materials.
Drawing sessions and workshops led by master instructor Luis Borrero:
Techniques in red chalk, charcoal, silverpoint, and ink wash.
Sketching landscapes, medieval piazzas, and Tuscan vineyards at sunset.
Preparation of historical drawing materials in a specialized workshop.
Basic art materials provided (paper, sketchbook, charcoal, red chalk, silverpoint).
Welcome dinner and farewell dinner.
Welcome meeting at the hotel salon on Day 1.
Final curation and critique session with sketchbook presentation in the hotel salon on the last evening.

Reservation & Communication Process
Initial Form → Once you complete the registration form, we will contact you directly.
Pre-Trip Meetings → Several online meetings via GoTo will be scheduled with participants to review logistics and academic details.
Deposit → Only after these meetings will participants be asked to submit the non-refundable deposit to confirm their spot.
